Mourning

الحسين بن محمد، عن عبد الله بن عامر، عن علي بن مهزيار، عن علي بن إسماعيل الميثمي عن ربعي بن عبد الله، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام) قال: إن الصبر والبلاء يستبقان إلى المؤمن فيأتيه البلاء وهو صبور ، وإن الجزع والبلاء يستبقان إلى الكافر فيأتيه البلاء وهو جزوع

Imam Ja’far Sadiq  has said that patience and hardships comes to the believer, hence on the appearance of hardships, he exhibit patience, and when   adversities and impatience comes to kafir, he wails on the appearance of adversities.

Hussain (ra) said to his sister Zainab

يا أخية إني أقسمت فأبري قسمي، لا تشقي علي جيبا، ولا تخمشي علي وجها، ولا تدعي علي بالويل والثبور إذا أنا هلكت

O sister, I place solemn on you so fulfill my solemn, never tear your pockets for me, nor claw (scratch) your face for me, nor invoke woe or destruction if I will die

These words of Hussain (ra) to his sister Zainab are also recorded in the Shia history book , Tarikh Yaqoobi, Vol. 2, p. 244 ,and the raeesul muhadditheen of Shias , i.e Majlisi has also recorded it in  Bihar ul anwar, Vol. 45, p. 3.
